  • Sponsor cataract surgery--You can make a significant and tangible impact in the life of one individual by providing the funds for the cost of a cataract surgery, completely restoring his/her sight in 15-30 minutes for $100 (includes cost of surgery and typically 1-2 night hospital stay given the distance many patients travel to seek care).
  • Staff--Global Eye Mission staff do not generate an income from the patients they serve since the very people they are serving are the poor. We rely on individuals and organizations to provide the necessary funds for our long-term volunteer staff. (more)
  • Medical supplies and instruments--Every effort is made to obtain donations for medical supplies and discounted or used medical instruments. When this is not possible, attempts will always be made to acquire equipment at the lowest possible price for quality equipment.
